Mountain Lake Montana Wedding!

Photographing any wedding is a privilege — to witness two people begin a life together, surrounded by love and hope. But when it's the wedding of a childhood friend held in the same valley you both grown up in, it holds a kind of meaning that words can’t quite capture.

I’ve known Ryan for most of my life, so when he and Nicole asked me to document their wedding day, it meant more than I can put into words. Their Montana celebration was the kind of day that stays with you — still lakes reflecting the mountain sky, afternoon thunderstorms that gave way to a cool, joyous evening spent with friends and family, all gathered to honor the love between two incredible people. The day unfolded like a story — unpredictable, moving, and ultimately perfect.

Childhood friends are rare — and the gift of lifelong friendship is something I cherish. That’s why Boone and I wanted to give Nicole and Ryan something beyond photos… something from the heart. We created a short film — 3 minutes of pure emotion and beauty — a way for them to relive the magic of their day for years to come.
