ABOUT US

Gina Lee Hodgin

I’ve dreamed of starting my own photography business for many years. My husband, Boone, bought me my first Nikon in 2008, and it opened a door to a passion I had always felt but had never fully explored. Not long after, though, life took us on an unexpected path. Boone’s work had us traveling and living in several different states, and while the dream of photography stayed close to my heart, it had to be set aside with the hope that one day, when life settled down, I could return to it.

God, however, had a different plan for our journey. As newlyweds in 2011, Boone and I were overjoyed to learn we were expecting our first child. Our son Boyd arrived far too early—at just 23 weeks—and from that moment forward, the next chapter of our lives was devoted completely to him. The following years were filled with love, challenges, and countless moments that reminded us how precious time truly is. Later, our family grew with the arrival of Boyd’s little brother, Declan, and for nine years my world centered entirely on being a mother and caring for our boys.

Now, fourteen years later, our family has reached a new season—one where I can finally pursue the dream that has been quietly waiting all these years. What makes this chapter especially meaningful is that I get to share it with my best friend and biggest supporter: my husband, Boone. From the very beginning—when he placed that first camera in my hands—to helping bring this business to life today, he has been instrumental in turning this dream into reality.

Photography, to me, isn’t simply about taking pictures. It’s about shaping light. Light defines every image—it reveals emotion, creates depth, and transforms a fleeting moment into something lasting. As photographers, we don’t just capture what is in front of us; we guide the light, soften it, strengthen it, and place it intentionally to tell a story. Every photograph becomes a small piece of time, crafted with care and preserved through light.

I’m thrilled to now offer both traditional and unique photography experiences here in Southwest Montana. This community is home, and it means so much to be able to share my passion with the people and places that have shaped my life. I look forward to exploring new styles, experimenting with creative techniques, and capturing meaningful moments for families right here in my hometown.

Photography is more than a business for me—it’s the fulfillment of a long-held dream, made possible by faith, family, and the belief that sometimes the most beautiful stories take time to unfold.

Daniel Boone Hodgin

I’ve always loved photography, but my lifelong dream was to own a lodge in Alaska. For the past 20 years, Gina has been by my side, helping me bring that dream to life. Today, we operate Ravencroft Lodge during a couple summer months, where we host guests for an incredible shark diving experience.

With years of experience in underwater photography, I’m excited to introduce unique underwater photo sessions here in Montana and the surrounding area. At the same time, I couldn’t be prouder to support Gina as she pursues her own dream of starting a photography business. Being able to stand beside her as she brings her vision to life is an honor.
